This auction is for a pair of Genuine Mother Of Pearl GRIPS for an Austrian Berloque Pinfire
Derringer Watch Fob. I bought the pistol; I am including
it for free as
a bonus,
solely for the grips, which will change out in most 1930
Berloques. (I will have one up for auction with silver
scrolled grips.)
The barrel is not marked, but it is like an "A2a" in Bob Urso's book - a
rare Austrian
1-3/4" OAL model with the unusually long barrel,
pointed hammer & trigger.
The pistol was not in very good condition at all when
found. It was frozen up, and non-functional. The large
barrel latch pin has been fabricated out of brass turned
in a Dremmel drill like a lathe and by hand; it has been
replaced. The barrel pin spring is original, but a piece
is broken off as pictured. The screw that held it was
corroded and broken off in the frame. A brass rivet holds
it now. I tried to get a jeweler to remove it, tap it and
put in a new barrel pin spring screw but they weren't
able - or not interested. I wish I had been successful.
Oh well. Everything else is original. It cocks and fires,
I cleaned & polished it up. It looks great. The gun displays nice or use the
authentic Mother Of Pearl grips in another of your
Berloques.
I tried to describe the find and its condition the best I

fire 2mm pinfire blanks.
